about religious art and architecture, clothing, recreational activities, language and communication, as well as a bit about peace in the land. Throughout the book are vocabulary words bolded and later defined in the included glossary. There is also an index. This book is a good example of informational because it includes facts and real pictures of real people and places, but it does not include citations. I felt that this was okay for this book because it was mostly about concepts of religion, which cannot always be cited.
This book did not utilize any noticeable elements of style because it was informational rather than a literary piece.
This book could be used in a study on the world religions.
This book could be used in a lesson or unit about culture and tradition around the world.
