I enjoyed the plot and layout of this book. The plot is an interesting and historical story about a Torah. This might interest people of the Jewish faith or anyone interesting in the effects of WWII. The layout of the book was simple. One page had the text and the page next to it had a picture to

go with it. This made the text seem less overwhelming, especially for children who struggle with reading.

The main idea of the story is that history is important and situations can change.
