It's nice when you want a prayer and bible verse or two to celebrate various milestones and seasons. Yes, I know we could make up our own, but not everyone likes to do that.

I use this book mostly for special occasions and seasonal prayers (i.e. Advent, Lent, etc.) As for daily prayers, though it has information on some of the basic prayers found in any prayer book (e.g. Hail Mary, etc.) it is lacking a lot of substance in that regard. It gives a sample of the Liturgy

of the Hours, but you're better off buying the one volume set "Christian Prayer" published by the Catholic Book Publishing Company. As for a wider variety of daily prayers for general use, I recommend "Catholic Prayers" from Tan Books. Show Less
