Mary at the Foot of the Cross: Teacher & Example of Holiness: A Retreat Given to John Paul II and the Papal Household

The text of a retreat preached by Cardinal Hickey to the Papal household during Lent of 1988. Each day the conferences focussed on a particular scriptural Marian theme. Our life of faith, prayer, service, mission and hope are seen in the light of Mary our Mother and model. As the Holy Father thought this worthy of nourishing the faith of those with whom he works most closely, it can do the same for all those striving to live their vocation more faithfully.
