Dave Armstrong is a Catholic writer, apologist and was formerly a Protestant campus missionary. In this book Mr. Armstrong uses scripture from the 1611 King James Bible too show the biblical rational for Catholic beliefs. The author does not try to use his own words to explain the truth of Catholic
An easy to use reference book that is broken out by doctrine that are supported in depth by scriptures taken from throughout the Bible and shown in light of there full context. Though I would have preferred the Douay Rheims version of the Holy Bible was used I can see the merits of using the 1611 King James version to reach a wider audience. For this book is written for all Christians to easily find the biblical support for the stated doctrine that heads each section.
The format of the book allows you to go straight to the particular doctrine you may have questions about. So though I read the book straight through such a method of reading this book is not required. This is a book you will read more than once and is a book that every Christian should consider. An apologists reference book.
