"When Daisy Ramona zooms around her neighborhood with her papi on his motorcycle, she sees the people and places she's always known. She also sees a community that is rapidly changing around her. But as the sun sets purple-blue-gold behind Daisy Ramona and her papi, she knows that the love she feels will always be there. With vivid illustrations and text bursting with heart, My Papi Has a Motorcycle is a young girl's love letter to her hardworking dad and to memories of home that we hold close in the midst of change."--

Daisy loves her small California town and especially cruising it on the back of her father’s motorcycle. A nice ode to home and hometown while also noticing the changes that might negatively impact the community.

This book follows Papi and the narrator as they go through a joyride on Papi's motorcycle. While riding, they pass stores, murals, construction workers, and a closed-down shaved ice shop. Readers learn all about the narrator's city as they ride. I liked the use of verbs as well as both Spanish and

The author takes a sentimental, nostalgic wallow into her girlhood, remembering/fantasizing a ride around her hometown of Corona, California, on the back of her father's motorcycle. Too dull for me.

I loved this so much I went out and bought it, and I only buy a picture book to keep maybe once every five years. It is SO amazingly beautiful with a wonderful story; 10/10 would recommend to all ages.

this book showcases a beautiful bond between a father and daughter while giving an insight into Mexican culture. It takes us through a town where the two live showing us work environments, businesses, and community.
