This book is a good example of fantasy because it’s believable even though Franklin and the other characters are all different animals that go to school together even though animals don’t really go to school or play with other kind’s animals.

Franklin isn’t used to making friends and when the newcomers move in he does not think he can be friends with the moose. He is so big! After being his partner in school Franklin learns that size doesn’t matter when it comes to friends. This is a good book to teach children about how it may feel
