An improbable journey, a true story of courage and survival during World War II

An Improbable Journey is an incredible and unique story about two European Jews who beat impossible odds.Through an extraordinary chain of events, a German Jew and a Polish Jew find themselves in Central Asia. They fall in love and struggle to survive hunger, homelessness, deadly epidemics, a black market economy, and Soviet police harassment. After the war, they manage to get from Central Asia to a displaced persons camp in Southern Germany. Along the way, they have a baby. Incredibly, in the DP camp, this Jewish couple formed an enduring friendship, which defied the hatreds of the time, with a German woman and put their baby in her care.
