I really enjoyed this second book in Vanessa Miller's Second Chance at Love series.

should be a minister. She used Serenity's relationship with her fiancé to prove that a man can, and should, support his successful, and Christian, woman.

This second book starts off with Michael, Serenity's fiancé, calling off their wedding just a week before the big date! She's devastated, as any woman would be.

Pastor Philip McKnight is an ex-football player who is interviewed on Serenity's religious television show. He's the first man she's interviewed on her show. He's a single father raising his daughter alone. He's trying to recover from his divorce.

Serenity has endured many hurts, and is a little (okay, a LOT) jaded when it comes to relationships. So, when Pastor McKnight takes an interest in her, she doesn't appreciate it. When she's told that she's stand-offish when it comes to her studio audience, she doesn't appreciate it. She needs to mellow out – and maybe, just maybe, Phillip McKnight is just the man to help her along. If she will allow him to.

Like I said, earlier, I enjoyed this book. The characters were fully developed and Vanessa Miller made Phillip McKnight another one of those good men who are hard to find...
