I have really enjoyed my time reading "The Oxford Chronicles". I liked stepping back in time and walking where great scholars walked, like C.S. Lewis and Tolkien. I like learning what people experienced and endured during the war with the Nazis, and appreciated all that was done to make this world

a better place.

In this story you are taken back and forth, from 1967 to the 1940s. The MacKenzie family, which you will have met and gotten to know in books one and two (I highly recommend reading these in the order they were written) are on a holiday, about to celebrate Eric's 50th birthday. Eric and Annie will take you back to their dating days and let you get to know them in great detail in this story. Their tragedies, their hopes and dreams, their commitment to each other and how their faith got them through at the end. Their story will help their daughter Natalie come to grips with how she feels about Lord Stuart Devereux. This was a well done series of stories that I will remember long after I have placed them on my shelf.
