This book goes through different colors and lists different thing that are each color. The items in the book are items that would appeal to very young children, which is the age group the book is geared towards.

are indeed yellow, but as a child I always associated apples with the color red.
The children could tell each other about their favorite colors and try mixing paint together to make different colors or their very own color that they could make up a name for.

Shiny pages with interspersed transparent pages that have drawings on them that change the pages they cover. I'm not sure that was as clear of the pages; anyway, it's nifty. The book teachers a lot about colors.
