Description

The shooters' aim is as fearsomely precise as their target selection. When Lindsay realizes that the fallen men and women excel in a lucrative, criminal activity, she leads the charge in the manhunt for the killers. As the casualty list expands, fear and fascination with this suspicious shooting gallery galvanizes the country. The victims were no angels, but are the shooters villains . . . or heroes?

James Patterson is one of my favourite authors and The Women's Murder Club is a series that I enjoy reading. In this installment of the series, the plot is good and the leading ladies are amazing as always but I felt something was missing.

Overall 20th Victim is a good read but the earlier books are slightly better so it didn't excite me much.

Another solid entry into The Women's Murder Club series. This time, Lindsay and Rich are trying to determine who is on a killing spree of drug dealers. Meanwhile, Yuki is trying to save a young teen from taking the fall for a murderer, although she is supposed to be prosecuting him. Cindy is

chasing the drug dealer murder stories, but she is suspicious of a young reporter assigned to work with her. Claire has some devastating news. Joe is helping an old friend who seems to be losing it.
One thing that really bothered me about this book is that Lindsay and Joe would look in on Julie sleeping and then take Martha, their dog, out for a walk. Who leaves their child at home with no adult supervision?
These aren't deep, just reading about characters who I have followed for 20 books!
Already looking forward to the next installment.

Fair quick and easy read. There are two plots, one feels like a filler plot to gain more pages. The mail plot, mysterious. As usual, character development was exacting. I really hated Cindy's helper in the news room and he finally gets his comeuppance. As usual, it ended well.
