This is an excellent book for new Christians as well as mature ones. RC has a unique way of making things plain and easy to comprehend. Although I do not agree with all of the doctrines mentioned here, they are all explained in a just way.

In the back of the book is a very helpful bibliography of suggested readings for more thorough discussion of each category. This book is helpful in grasping important ideas of the Bible.

Great quick resource. I have use it as the basic of youth Bible studies, adult Sunday School lessons, personal reference/research, devotional reading, etc. I have also given away more than I can recall.

Very good introduction to the essential Christian Doctrines. Also serves as a "quick reference" when questions come up -- each topic is only about 2 pages long, so this book also makes a very nice daily study -- at one chapter a day, you can read through the book four times in a year.
