I don't usually comment on the sex scenes in lesbian romance because they generally aren't the primary reason why Iread the book (although they're usually a nice addition to a good or okay plot part of the novel). But, in the case of this book. Yikes. Some of them were very intense (in a good

way).

The story at the novel's heart is about thre friends. Brenda, Liz and Candace. They met in college and formed this Lonely Heart Club where the commiserate over breakups and in general are there for each other.

Liz is a lawyer who gets some very surprising news, she then runs into (very hard) Reilly, a Doctor, and that starts something that both of them want but aren't sure if they're quite ready for.

There's also Candace who's usually quite the lady's lady, but who finds an interesting match with another lawyer Parker.

And there's Brenda (or Bren to Candace and Liz). Her story has even more secrets and surprises and it more than the other who plots kept me guessing.

It was a fun read and especially liked how the characters changed uring the narrative.

Liz & Bren & Candace & Reilly & Parker & Rae & Julia & Annie

Three friends. Three new romances. There's potential in this book for a trilogy, with Liz, Bren and Candace each getting a book telling their story. As it stands, only Liz's story gets any kind of resolution.

This was a great read. The

characters are all strong and likeable, their situations are relatable fantasies and with so many players there is no shortage of passion steaming up the pages. I don't know if there are really communities like the one these characters live in, where everyone appears to be gay, but it sure sounds like a great place to live.
