I enjoyed the story; it was paced well, the characters were likable and believable, and the storyline was good (if common). It could have done with an editor (or a better one), though. There were lots of sudden POV changes, sometimes from sentence to sentence, and the character development of Dean,

the protagonist, wasn't done as well as it could have been. Instead of two steps forward, one step back, it was more like one step forward, two steps back and then a million steps forward in the last half of the last chapter.

Verdict: It's worth reading, if you can deal with its quirks.
