A book about Indian mythology. The peacock is the god of rain. People today still believe that when the peacock spreads its feathers and dances rain will fall.

A well-meaning effort but contrived and heavy-handed. The double spread page of the peacock dancing is lovely but not enough to compensate for the rest.
