As volunteers for the Citizens Climate Lobby, Lynn Whitney collected these statements about climate change from faith groups around the world and found remarkable agreement among them all: that dangerous climate change is occurring, that human activities are a major cause, and that we owe it to vulnerable populations, future generations and natural ecosystems to take corrective action. Lynn and her mother, Ellie Whitney, created this book, hoping that readers will find these statements useful in persuading decision makers that climate change is becoming a global disaster and must be addressed without further delay.
