Earth and Word: Classic Sermons on Saving the Planet

A project initiated by the Web of Creation (www.webofcreation.org) to compile sermons on ecology, creation, nature and justice, and a means to foster and strengthen the church's commitment to eco-justice ministry. Although there has been a steady growth in the production of theological literature on ecology and nature, the commitment of congregations to eco-justice ministry is very weak. The power of the Word of God in preaching as a means to inculcate Christian responsibility to care for creation is an area that requires helpful resources.
