Whither Australia? : a response to Australia's current defence policy

A response to the White Paper, 'The Defence of Australia', which was presented to Parliament in 1987 by the then Minister for Defence, Kim Beazley. It addresses questions to issues such as the proposed increase in capital expenditure, the shift in foreign policy to a 'security' orientation, and the development of an export drive in military material. The ANZUS Treaty and an explanation of the Peace Tax campaign appear as appendices, along with a glossary.
