I purchased this used as a teenager and re-read it periodically. It reminds me of the impact of war on everyone whether they choose to fight or not. I don't remember how I heard about the book, but I grew up attending Moorestown Meeting and she was a Friend who lived in Philadelphia. It is a beautiful story and I'm sorry it is probably out of print now.
