This short (16 pages) pamphlet was an entry in an edited book on 20th century religion, and was revised in 1961. It is Brinton's view of the essence of Quaker thought and practice , in 5 pages, and an overview of Quaker history. While Brinton is always informative and insightful, this pamphlet is
