This pamphlet might initially put off readers with abstruse language ("we are brought into truth with the original matrix of our being"), but the persevering reader will be rewarded with a sophisticated, deep, ultimately clear and compelling explanation of Quaker spirituality, in 22 (small) pages.

Here is a much deeper explication than given in the usual introduction to Quakerism.
This pamphlet is both helpful and inspiring. It helps us understand what we are doing in silent meeting for worship; his two paragraphs are better than 90% if the explanations I've read elsewhere. And the explanation of Quaker spirituality and the testimonies clears away misleading expectations that can be real stumbling blocks, points helpfully to the way forward, and inspires us with its promise. This is why we are Quakers.
