"A journal is an instrument of awareness," write Parsons and Morrison, and they have written a pamphlet on how to go about it. This includes suggestions for exploration of your life, your past, your self, dreams, crises, and spiritual experiences, with writing exercises. They also discuss their reasons for journaling and include a list of wonderful books on writing and journaling. This gracefully written pamphlet will be helpful and inspiring to a beginning, or even experienced, journaler.
