If you're going to insult this book you ought to read it at least once. Most of its cultured detractors are so ignorant of its contents that they should sit still and learn and not talk. When I look at this very old copy of the Holy Bible, I am amazed at the level of detail that has been lost between then and now. This copy contains so much information that is not found in today's bibles: approximate dates for the events, using James Ussher's dating methods, at the top corner of each page; a table of contents that gives the chapter for many major biblical events found in each book; and even a list pertaining to the number of chapters, verses words, and even letters in the Bible (remember, back then this all had to be done manually).

This is the Catholic edition, containing the apocryphal books between the Old and New Testaments. It also contains the often seen, never used family records page just before the New Testament, although I was not fortunate enough for it to have any information filled in.
