Noble Beasts: Animals in Art

This work pairs works of art from all periods with poetry and prose. All the realms of the animal world are represented, and the artists featured include Titian, Rubens, Manet, Renoir and Gauguin. The writers and poets featured include Milton, Blake, Yeats and Lawrence.
