A Sprig of Parsley

Sarah couldn't afford a rose for Grammy - she could only afford the sick little parsley plant on the sale table. Her friends said it was hopeless, but Sarah gave it to Grammy anyway. Grammy loved the little gift, and showed Sarah how pruning can help things grow. She clipped the sick plant away, leaving a small stalk. Soon the little sprig of parsley became a beautiful, bushy plant that provided a little something extra for the favourite dishes of those who said there was no hope!
