inconsequential, this was where a photo was originally tipped in there and this will often cause a slight gap, as here. The 8th photo of the inside back cover shows a tiny loss at the very top of cover, near hinge. This happened at the time of publication. It is not the hinge starting at all, but on the pastedown, and I see it as inconsequential as to condition.
