Description

Since 1948, Israel has withstood three full-scale invasions on multiple fronts, bloody wars with Palestinian militias, deadly bombings of its diplomatic missions, and hundreds of terrorist attacks within its territory and against its citizens abroad. This violence has inflicted immense suffering and loss on the people of Israel, but the country has emerged from armed conflict with more territory rather than less, while its permanent preparedness for war has ensured that the full weight of Israeli innovation has been thrown behind the country's military, turning it into the most formidable fighting force in the region. In light of Israel's military prowess, its enemies have opened a new front in their war of annihilation: a full-scale political assault on Israel's legitimacy. The Anti-Israel Agenda reveals how the institutions of greatest moral and political influence including Western governments, the campus, the United Nations, and the Church are being turned against Israel in an effort to isolate and cripple the state until it can no longer defend its interests or its people. Bringing together the finest minds devoted to the Arab-Israeli conflict, including Alan Dershowitz, Alan Johnson, Col. Richard Kemp, and Hillel Neuer, this powerful and timely exposé reveals how the conflict with Israel has shifted from the battlefield to the corridors of power, the media we consume, the campuses we attend, and every forum that touches our lives. Engrossing and authoritative, The Anti-Israel Agenda is essential to understanding war and conflict in today s Middle East.… (more)

The Anti-Israel Agenda:
Inside the Political War on the JewishState

Alex Ryvchin has produced an excellent compilation of highly persuasive experts whose researches reveal that the propaganda war against Israel shows a new battleground. Israel bashing through social media has become a vehicle for

spreading hate.
Facebook is the media of choice for promoting hate. On college campuses, hatred is promoted by massive funding for anti-Israel propaganda, including justifications for terrorism. This is an eye-opening revelation of how propaganda on a massive scale is attempting to delegitimize and destroy Israel. A must read.

The book presents a completely damning picture. Material evidence that would easily hold up in any court other than that of current public opinion.

This book is a very well researched series of papers on the double standards being applied to Israel since its creation, and only getting worse through
Show More
today. It covers the different venues through which Israel is not only demonized, but treated in completely different fashion to other nations. Some of these other nations demonstrably guilty of worse offenses than those they allege against Israel.

Clear examples of how the anti-Israel agenda is promoted on campuses, in the press, in the U.N.(most especially), by certain governments, by NGOs, and many other venues are perfectly documented and laid out for review.

Yes, the book is sympathetic towards Israel, but the facts speak for themselves. This is not a book that will convince anyone that is firmly in the opposing camp. We live in the age of the echo chamber, where prejudice is deeply ingrained and invisible to self reflection.

But just knowing that there is a permanent group within the U.N. who do nothing but issue declarations against Israel for anything that state does, while giving a free pass to the Palestinian Authority or anyone else when they attack Israel is something that should not be ignored by any right thinking person.

Is Israel perfect? Has their every action been always justified and worthy of applause? Probably not. But can any state say their hands have always been clean? Israel has been under attack since its founding, and when you're under attack, you take whatever measures are necessary to survive. Even if they might not always be the fairest.

Each of the chapters in this book focuses on one area of society and how that area promotes the anti-Israel agenda. Each chapter, and thus the book in its entirety, proves its point quite easily. Read it. Judge for yourself. If your echo chamber allows you the luxury. Even if you disagree with some or all of the conclusions or facts presented, I challenge you to post where the book gets it wrong or cherry picks its facts to arrive at a wrong conclusion.

Alex Ryvchin has assembled ten essays from an assortment of academics, journalists, NGO and
community activists and a military specialist along with a concluding commentary by Professor Alan M.
Dershowitz, to discuss the ongoing political struggle revolving around the Israel-Palestine conflict in

the
forum of public opinion. The authors argue the Israeli position in support of the restoration of a
sovereign Jewish nation-state within the historical heartland of the Jewish people and in opposition to
what they see as unrelenting and unjust attacks from assorted adversaries.
