Passover Seder...

With a rhyming text that is fun to read aloud - "Hurry, scurry, Pippa Mouse, / washing, scrubbing, cleaning house. / Passover starts at six tonight, / Seder meal by candlelight" - and bright, colorful illustrations, Pippa's Passover Plate is an entertaining new holiday tale, one that would make an excellent story-time selection at this time of year. The final page features the Seder plate with the six traditional Passover items, all labeled, but without any explanation of their symbolic significance. Although this is a Passover tale, it does not explain the holiday, so there is an assumption that the reader/listener is already informed about the topic. Recommended to readers looking for fun new picture-books featuring Passover.
