Mira longed for a little sister, but she didn’t realize how much noise a baby could make, nor the big changes to family life. When the baby cries the day of her simchat bat (and naming), Mira calms her with a song, hence baby Shira.

Sweet story about a sister adjusting to her new sibling. The female rabbi presiding over the naming ceremony is a nice touch.
