Wolper Jewish Hospital celebrated its 60th anniversary on 21 August 2021. In recognition of that milestone a history of Wolper entitled 'The First 60 Years' has been published outlining the Hospital's evolution from 1961 to date.
The hospital first envisioned after World War II was the realisation of its founders’ vision of a Jewish hospital that cares for the wellbeing of all, irrespective of religion, race, background or beliefs. Commencing with the aspirations of its founders, ‘The First 60 Years’ brings to life the key events and personalities that contributed to Wolper becoming the well-recognised provider of the highest quality healthcare it is today.
