A beautiful story that will warm even the coldest of hearts. If you believe in the strength of family bonds, I think you would enjoy this book.

I think the first two books about Joheved and Miriam were so outstanding that Rachel didn't have a chance of shining, also. It seemed to labor from the middle to the end. Some of the sexual statements were pure Maggie Anton and have no basis in historical research, and I wonder why she used them.

A nice finish to the series. Rachel, Salomon’s favorite, works very hard to start her clothier business in order to keep Eliezer at home in Troyes. He is fascinated by astronomy and it drives a wedge between them. Jews are also starting to lose their favored status due to social changes.
