Shows how to sign the alphabet and many basic words. Great to introduce and incorporate sign language into the classroom.

In my opinion this book is a great introduction for students to learn about sign language. The pictures are child-like and very simple. The descriptive pictures are easy to follow and have children do as well. There are pictures of a hand on each page showcasing how to make the letter of the

alphabet as well as pictures on to show words that many children are familiar with. Having a book like this in a classroom library would be a great tool for students to use and practice. It allows a student to be exposed to a disability whether or not they know someone that is hearing impaired or not.
