This book is basically just a rewrite of MoveOn.org's 50 Ways to Love Your Country, and is hardly worth the time I spent, so I aborted it. Perhaps some people need to be preached at about how to make a difference, but I am not among them, and life is too short to waste on a bad book. Plus, the

authors are all atwitter because apathy about global warming had ended, which it had not at the time, it has not now, and there is no sign that it will end any time soon. Optimism is fine, but it needs to be realistic optimism, and not silly things about happy, shiny people.
