Difficult book to read out loud, really lives up to the title "Oh Say Can you Say?". There is no official storyline of the book, but is still interesting to read. The book contains several tongue twisters on each page challenging the reader to pronounce them.

Not my favorite Dr. Seuss. The tongue twisters are definitely twisters, but they don't really capture my child's imagination like his stories do. Fox in Sox is a better choice for tongue twisters for children.

Some readers obviously have fond memories of this one--not me. I find it to be one of Dr. Seuss's weaker efforts (and not nearly up to the level of my tongue twisting favorite, Fox in Socks). Still, even weak Dr. Suess is better than plenty of the mindless drivel you can find in the children's

We had a lot of fun with this book, it not only helps with speed-speaking, but also reading quickly too. Lots of silly tongue-twisters

I had a wonderful time with this book with both of my, now, grown sons. I can still hear them belly laughing...

Oh Say Can You Say is a book of different tongue twisters that are fun to say. If students are having a hard time saying different letters or sounds. It is fun for students to try and say different twisters. The pictures are great and the rhymes are wonderful. This book would be better for students

who have are trying to work on their fluency.

This delightful book of tongue twisters was the absolute favorite of my son when he was little. I still from time to time say the tongue twisters just to keep in practice, and prove I still can. The wit and imagination of Dr. Seuss shines through every line, particularly so in the one about the

This isn't a book with a plot but simply a collection of tongue twisters. There's the traditional Seussical flair to the wording and illustrations, but after a while the twisters start to just sound like gibberish. Admittedly, I am not a fan of tongue twisters so I'm not really the ideal audience

for this book. If you are a fan of tongue twisters, then this book is definitely for you. If you're a Dr. Seuss fan, you might also enjoy this book, although it's worth noting this title is more in line with a nonsensical Seuss book like Hop on Pop than with a Seuss book with a more traditional storyline such as The Lorax or How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

This book does not have a story line to grasp any meaning from. It is filled with may tongue twisters that make the book difficult to read and comprehend for some students, especially at a young age. The illustrations are fun and full of color. It is because of the color and the creativeness of the

words, I would use this in my classroom for a fun read aloud and a break from the busy learning filled day. A lot of the words are made up, I think it would be fun to even use this book as a creative writing opportunity. Have students write their own poem or tongue twister making up words or using real words.

Who doesn't love a good tongue twister? Especially one written by Dr. Seuss!

Another great book from my childhood revisited as I organize my bookshelves.

Beginning readers are sure to giggle over the absurd rhyming tongue twisters in this hilarious vocabulary-building book. Grown-ups are encouraged to read these rhymes aloud to their young readers and prepare themselves for non-stop laughter as the youngsters learn that reading can be more fun than

they ever imagined.

Highly recommended.
