Theology
As the author remarks, his book "smacks of a document of our time." As such, it is a courageous and effective piece of constructive apologetic and evangelism.

Journal of Theological Studies
It is impossible to read these volcanic pages without being impressed by the fact that here is a prophet absolutely certain that the hidden God has revealed himself in His Son in the world of space and time in a manner which challenges men to the decisive venture of faith.

This volume will bring [readers] into contact with a razor-edged mind grappling fearlessly with the profoundest questions of the human spirit.
The Times (London) Literary Supplement
An excellent summary of and introduction to Barthian theology.

Brief summary of Barth's theology, using the Apostolic Creed as a basis. If only all religious thought were this rational.
