The most beautiful choice of language from the oldest texts known at the time bring the deepest and clearest understanding of the meanings in a way that reads like literature, unlike most other translations. This is THE translation for people who READ serious literature. The language is modern, rich and structured in a way that is not so far removed from the KJ version we know, so it's at once "familiar" yet fresh. Some vocabulary choices seem bold, but in the broader contexts, especially of the Gospels, they help bring more unity to some of the dissonances between them.
