Dyer Memorial Library & Archives

The Dyer Memorial Library & Archives has been collecting, protecting, studying, displaying, and sharing information about the residents and events of Old Abington for generations. The Dyer is a unique and valuable resource for those interested in the history of the towns of Abington, Rockland and Whitman, Massachusetts that up until 1874, were all a part the Town of Abington. The DML&A is a non-circulating library. Portions of the DML&A's book collection are accessible with staff assistance, but researchers may pull books from the shelves located in the Murphy Reading Room themselves. The DML&A is pleased to showcase our exceptional collection of Civil War books in our TinyCat online catalog!
