This book provides a lesson, within a story. The lesson is that by sharing, everyone gains. That's a good lesson to learn. The picturtes have a mysterious look to them, which adds to the flavour of the book. Also, the book references several things that are associated with the Jewish people. So

there is so much brightness and life in the character's faces, even the little cat that randomly shows up. It's a story of sharing and the connections between people done in a funny and interesting way. Show Less
