I guess because she saw no other way to deal with things. i thought the notes that she left were inspiring and the best part of the whole book, is when she finds out that she really did exist.

This was such an amazing book! I love it when an author is able to make a good story that will help the readers understand the facts and horror of the holocaust. It was such a beautiful book and you felt yourself feeling the emotions of the characters and hoping the best for them. Such a good read!

An engaging story that fiction, but at the same time based on fact. The fear the Jew experienced at the hands of the Nazi's is overwhelming.
