A humorous Kimmelesque story that children and adults will enjoy. The secret to Eric's incredible success lies in his love of storytelling. Library's review
It’s a funny book and totally a farcical story about Hayyim, who wakes up one morning to discover he’s dead (or so he thinks). Only a 9-12 year old would be able to grasp this tale. Eric Kimmel is a wonderful writer. A good read! - Karen S.

As Dr. Kimmel explains in an Author's Note on the verso, the story is based on "The Tale of a Stingy Woman" in Beatrice Silverman Weinreich's Yiddish Folktales>.
