In the Dark

In the midst of World War II, Rochel Sharfer, a young Jewish girl, is sent to live in the English countryside to escape the bombings of Liverpool. Rochel and her little brother Daniel are placed in the village of Burroclough at Hethwaite Hall with the mysterious Miss Darwen. As strange happenings occur and strange people are seen in the village, Rochel is drawn into a web of intrigue.
