SUMMARY
Bim and Bom are close friends. Bim is a housebuilder and did a mitzvah by building houses for the poor. Bom is a baker and did a mitzvah by giving challah to people who couldn't afford it. On Friday, Bim and Bom celebrated Shabbat together in Bim's house and ate Bom's challah.

story is very simple. I like the ideas that are present. However, I feel that the information was very surface-level. I didn't learn that much. The book would say that Bim and Bom had done something good or done a mitzvah, but it didn't really give me any information beyond that. My favorite thing about this book is that the back cover includes the sheet music to some kind of song called Shabbot Shalom. It also provides lyrics which I think is a great way to tie in music into the classroom.
