Tomas is caught stealing and sent to work in the Jewish ghetto as punishment by the Lord of the Manor. While there, he experiences justice and kindness and realizes the stories he's been told about the Jews are not true, and sees the injustice they are exposed to. Truly a favorite for all ages.
