Grandma tells her grandchildren the history behind a very special feather pillow. She tells about when she was a young girl her family had to go into hiding to escape persecution form the Nazis and the feather comforter is what kept warm while in hiding. The grandchildren also learn how the

comforter had become the pillow that it is today.
The illustrations of this book are a nice support to the text of the story. The topic of the story lends itself more to upper elementary.
