Found a very dusty original edition of this book amongst my late husband's books and set it aside as one to read. Read it cover to cover yesterday and found it fascinating. Though I had to stop from time to time to sort out which things where historical fact and which where fiction. That actually

became kind of a game for me that made reading it all the more fun. I loved how the characters were so intertwined and the ways in which the grew and changed. Definitely a worthy read.
