I have referred to the book many times to find the procedure for doing hemstitching while my pieces are still on the loom. I finally have conquered the process and no longer need to look it up, but in addition to numerous ways to do hemstitching, this book shows you how to finish the edges of your

handwovens in many different ways. There are directions on woven loom fringe which is quite nice on blankets, knotted fringes and fringes that are woven separately. How to miter the corners of a bag, make handles for bags and joining widths of handwoven are important facets to this book. The last chapter is devoted to embroidery finishes such as leno, brooks bouquet and Spanish lace.

If you want to make your handwoven pieces shine, the techniques in this book will help you do a wonderfully finished product.
