An overall excellent book. This book presents the author's personal experiences with decades of using natural dyestuffs, and the outcomes of her experimentation. It includes a simple system for creating and tracking your own dye "recipes", as well as a chapter on giving a dying class that I will

definitely make use of, once I have the equipment and a bit of practical experience. The book includes many color photographs of the possible colors on different fibers, as well as some nice shots of the author using the dying process. The book does concentrate on dyestuffs that are plentiful in the continental US, plus a couple of more "exotic" natural dyes in cochineal and indigo.
