Description
Over 75 detailed drawings (many by Carmen G. Espinosa) of traditional colcha embroidery motifs; weaving patterns; a loom and wool winder to scale. Drawings retraced from bulletins distributed to vocational schools in northern N.M., explanatory texts from "New Mexico Colonial Embroidery" (1943), "Weaving Bulletin" (1937), and "Vegetable Dyes Bulletin" (1935). Wroth (author Christian Images in Hispanic N.M.; ed.
