A gentler, less frenetic, more complex Where's Waldo. With great illustrations.

Anno's U.S.A. is a great example of the different landsacapes in the U.S.A. Anno uses pictures to represent the farming traditions of our country as well many others including enormous city buildings and the numerous bodies of water. The history of transportation is also reflected with several

images of horse drawn carriages in the background.

Young students will enjoy exploring many of the traditions involved in the settling of the U.S.A. Students will be exposed pictures that represent many of the early events that made this nation the great place it is today.

This book would be a great way to incorprate the story of our country's founding to younger aged students that are being exposed to the information for the first time. Pictures tell the story better than words in this case.

Down south we go to an old fasioned town festival. Soon we move up to a parade in the big city, a wedding in the park, off to a picnic at the Capital.
